Public & Private Schools

School districts and personnel have a unique responsibility when it comes to youth protection. Students are at school, often times, more than they are at home. While the vast majority of educators are 100% pure in their commitment to the well-being of our children, we know there are some who are not.  Responsible educators have a unique perspective to prevent and spot possible abuse.  They simply need to be trained so they recognize it for what it is and know how to respond…both lawfully and appropriately.

Stark Consulting Group works with individual schools, school districts and school risk management pools to do just that.

After a thorough risk assessment, Stark Consulting Group will review and/or develop youth protection policies & procedures specific to your school system that reflect best practices, are compliant with local and federal laws, practical, enforceable and effective.

Stark Consulting Group will provide child sexual abuse prevention and response training that is relevant to all levels of personnel to help them minimize the risk of abuse, recognize the warning signs of possible abuse, and know how to respond to a suspicion or known abuse. All training are research-informed.

To fully wrap the students in a blanket of protection, Stark Consulting Group offers educational materials for parents that focus on how to talk to their children about body safety, pragmatic ways to minimize the risk of abuse within their families, how to recognize the warning signs of abuse, and how to respond both legally and for the well-being of their child.

Lastly, while youth protection is an adult responsibility, it is important to educate and empower our youth. With age-appropriate and research-informed programming, students can learn that their bodies belong to them and they have the right to stop any touches that make them uncomfortable. This message is important if one is 6 years old, 16 years old or 26 years old.
